Burger Patties
Firm, oven-steamed beef-style burger patties made from our Old-Fashioned Hamburg base.

batch Old-Fashioned Hamburg
- Prepare the Old-Fashioned Hamburg mixture as directed.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized burger patties.
- Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Cover the sheet tightly with aluminum foil to ensure the patties steam and retain moisture.
- Bake at 325°F for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil, flip the patties, put the foil back in place, and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Let cool while loosely covered before storing or serving to allow the texture to set.

The steaming step (covering with foil) is crucial for the texture; without it, the oil-free patties can become too dry or crumbly.
Once cooled, these patties hold their shape well and can even be hand-crumbled into sauces or onto salads.
