Pickled Red Onions
Quick pickled red onions made with vinegar, water, salt, and maple syrup.

red onion, thinly sliced
2/3 cup
water
1/3 cup
white vinegar
1/2 tsp
kosher salt
1/2 tsp
maple syrup
- Place the sliced red onion in a jar or container.
- Add the water, white vinegar, kosher salt, and maple syrup.
- Put a lid on the jar and swirl gently to combine for 15-20 seconds.
- Press onions beneath liquid as much as possible
- Refrigerate 30 mins until lightly pickled. Lasts about 7 days.
